$100,000 State Grant for local Firehouse

Middle River Volunteer Fire and Rescue received a $100,000 grant to undergo the design and construction of a new roof and other key maintenance items on Middle River Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company’s current firehouse. Delegate Ryan Nawrocki of District 7A wrote the legislative bond initiative to request funding. The funding was supported by Delegate Kathy Szeliga and Senator J.B. Jennings.  MRVFR is composed of approximately 200 volunteers that serve the greater Middle River area.
